Processing Fees on Purchasing with Installments
Question:- Charing Zero Markup and collecting Processing Charges. If selling a commodity for a price higher than the market rate is allowed-without the markup- then, in the same offer, Rs. 500/1000/1500 is charged in the name of processing fees. It is probably non-refundable, and this processing fee covers our process from our application to the delivery. But that's for the same thing that I am buying in installments. Is this permissible?
Answer:- It is permissible to charge the buyer the processing fee and other charges related to the transfer of the commodity if it is a common practice in the marketplace.
