فَسـئَلُوا اَهلَ الذِّكرِ اِن كُنتُم لَا تَعلَمُونَ‏

So, ask the people (having the knowledge) of the Reminder (the earlier Scriptures), if you do not know.

Reduced Rakat in Obligatory Prayers during travelling
Question:- I was travelling. I didn't know I had to pray 2 Rakat instead of 4. By mistake, I offered 4 rakat. Will my prayer be accepted?
Answer:- In the given situation, if you sat down for Tashahhud after two rakats, then your prayer will be accepted but since you didn't do Sajdah e Sahv, it is recommended to repeat your prayers.
