Selling Used Cooking Oil
Question:- A lot of restaurants sell used oil, which is no longer reusable because it ruins the food and gives a foul odour. Is it permissible to sell this oil or should we discard it?
Answer:- Reusing oil is hazardous for heath. If you know for a fact that the person you're selling it to, is going to reuse this oil for frying edibles and selling them, then selling it to such a person is not permissible. But if they are going to use it to make soaps, then you can sell it.
