Supplication after Funeral Prayers
Question:- In our mosque, funeral prayers are followed by Duas. Those who avoid the Duas are advised to perform them. Is this act proven through the sayings of the Prophet SAW?
Answer:- Funeral Prayer is itself a Dua. There is no need for Duas after offering the Funeral Prayers. Prophet SAW himself led many funeral prayers but didn't follow them with a separate Dua. Henceforth, it will be called an innovation in religion, and it becomes mandatory to stop this act.
