Question:- I had inherited a house which i sold recently. I would like to know if I am liable to pay Zakat on this transaction amount right away or after a year has passed after this transaction?
Answer:- If you did not own a sum above the minimum criteria of Zakat before this transaction, and reached this criterion after selling your house, then your zakat will become liable after a year has passed from this transaction.
